water dilutes toxins and is filter through your kidneys. They mean enough water to keep yourself hydrated. 6-8 glasses a day.

You would have to drink ALOT more water than what your doctor is referring to to have water intoxication. You would have to drink too much water too fast for that to happen. It's a very rare occurrence.
Do a search on water intoxication and you can find all the information you are looking for.
Reply:No, it will not "wear out" your liver if you drink a lot of water.
Drinking a lot of alcohol can pickle your liver, though!
Reply:Your liver filters toxins out of your system. A little extra water will have no adverse effect , also your liver should function well for 100 years if you don't abuse it with alcohol and drugs.
Reply:no it wont. now if you drink 5 gallons in a day it will shut your kidneys down but that would mean you were forcing water down and your body will begin to reject it and make you throw up i knew someone that did that he thought it would do something good for him the dr said that he shut his kidneys down. and that was dangerous. but if you are drinkig 16 glasses a day its fine when i was pregnant the dr told me to drink 2 gallons a day because the babies water was low. drinking alot of water will give you a longer life, because you are cleaning out all of your bodies toxins. they say 8- 8 oz glasses are the recomended most people drink less than that.
Reply:Nope you need 8 + glasses a day and your kidneys actually thrive on it. It keeps your skin hydrated so it can glow because it isn't dry, when you don't drink enough water you have dry skin - its one of the first signs of dehydration in fact if you are already thirty you are dehydrated.
your liver will stay healthy if you keep your alcohol in moderation. But water is wonderful for your entire body it keeps toxins flushed.
