Lighter Skin/Eyes?

Was reading through yahoo and found this (reading about lighter colored eyes)- "it just means that your body is getting alot of nuitrtient and calcuim. eyes usually change color and skin usually changes lighter when your body is very healthy..its just like if you used to live in nyc and then you moved to the country, your eye and skin color will change because, of the fresh air..it just means that your body is getting healthier"

Is this true? People with lighter skin and light eyes are healthier? Seems like some racial undertones in that statement..
Lighter Skin/Eyes?
Eye and skin color are caused by pigments, not nutrients or calcium. You create more when you're exposed to sunlight and become darker, and your skin lightens when you're not outdoors. Eyes do not generally change color. The exception to this is that most babies are born with blue eyes regardless of race, and the pigments develop within the first weeks of life.

I don't know where you found this, but it's total BS.
Lighter Skin/Eyes?
It sounds like a bunch of crap to me.

Your eye color is determined by genes, not health.

I live in a semi-rural area, so my health is not affected by city life, and my skin is light because I don't go out in the sun. My eyes are the darkest I've ever seen, and I consider myself very healthy.
Reply:My very fair husband has already dealt with diabetes, and a friend of mine very fair had a heart attack at 40 and my step daughter gets every ailment possible.

I am darker and am a very good self healer.
Reply:There are no health implications on the color of eyes or skins, unless they changed in your own life time.
