Fair Skin/ Freckles : Tanning Bed Help*?

i have pale skin, and freckles, and i find it extremely hard to tan, im going to start going to the tanning bed, slowly but surely, i need to know what is the best way to get a tan:


-what lotion should i use with my skin?


-how long should i lay %26amp; how long on each side?


-how many days a week





(two girls at my school who were worse off than me, pale-dark heavy freckles-red hair are really dark now thanks to the tanning bed, and they tan easily now)





any help would be appreciated, and please know before you post i am aware of skin cancer and etc.// bronzers %26amp; spray tans are not options because they streak me easily.

If you are gonna tan, you need to build a base tan first which is the process of building up your tolerance to sun-burns and to help keep your tan longer. Tanning salons have a variety of lotions. Ask which is best for you. Your first tanning sessions should be short (5 minutes) to prevent sun-burn. Little by little increase the amount of time. Gradually you'll build a base tan. Go like once a week. Good luck. =)

WHOA! stop stop stop, go with what you were givin, red hair and freckles can be extremely sexy if you tan in a bed it will clash(red hair, orange skin), just find a guy who loves you for the beauty that you are. no one else is worth it.

Reply:Avoid the tanning booth with having fair skin.. you will increase the risk of skin cancer. Honestly .. you will find as you get older there are a lot of advantages of being fair skin and one especially is that you always look younger then you are. Being fair skin is a blessing and freckles can be adorable.

Reply:This is very hard for you to accept but I'll say it anyway - you are already beautiful! Japanese girls avoid the sun and do all they can to look as light skinned as possible. Not a huge tanning bed business there. Look at the girl in the mirror and get happy with her as she is. That will make everything else you do so much easier.
