Skin complexion & food?

is sugar (sweets/candy) bad for your skin/spots, if so how can you help your skin and reverse what ever the sugar did?





also how come eating something bad for your skin once gives you spots, yet to get rid of spots and make a nice complexion by eating e.g. fruits. You have to eat them loads for at least a week to see a difference ?

refined/chemically processed sugar is not good for your skin. natural sugar (fruits) is a bit better. although, you should still keep sugar to minimum level anyways. nuts will definitley give you good skin. i've been eating them lately, probably like the past 2 or 3 months, and i have definitley noticed a difference in my skin. plus, i eat healthy and exercise. so, put the two together and you'll look good and be healthy and happy.

well basicly eat alot of candy and you will get fat, making you're skin look horrid , if thats the answer you're looking for
Reply:Yes eating junk food is really bad for your health and face. Try eating one gala apple everyday it is really good for you skin complexion. and eat atleast one orange everyday. It contains more vitamins and you will look much more healthier. It also gets rid of spots.

Reply:Ever heard the saying you are what you eat, or It's written all over your face? Well they are both true. Sometimes the stuff we eat...chocolate, fried and greasy foods, soft drinks...clog out pores and gives us breakouts. The quickest way to see a change in your skin....DRINK LOTS OF WATER. Get rid of the sodas, cut down on the candy etc. and drink water and eat your fruits and veggies. Also, be careful of the items you use in your hair, hairspray, gels mousse. try not to get on your face...and keep your hands away from your face. If you have really bad skin, you can go to the Clinque counter and get a facial and they will tell you what type of skin you have and what products to use. (they have a mens line too) Clinique worked better for me than proactiv. but if you do the water thing and keep your face clean i promise u will see a change.
Reply:I always think that everything we overdo to our body is not good for our health.I mean if we eat a lot of sugar ,or mayonaise,or butter, or chocolate, or alcohol,or coffee,or fruits and others.... finally this will start showing off in our skin.....maybe just as a mark,stain or a disease .


Eating right (a balance diet)is important for our body health and right function.Also I will add to bear in mind about sun exposure.


If you want to have a nice complexion eat a balance diet and drink water.
