Kid's skin red and blotchy?

Kid's blotchy dry skin HELP?

hi, I have 3 boys, ages 14,11 and 9. When they are in chlorinated pools for an extended period of time...ie when on vacation, their skin on their face and neck, sometimes on their arms becomes very red and blotchy and when I apply sunscreen it stings!!!!! This usually happens on about day 2 or 3 of our vacation after prolonged exposure to the pool water. Any suggestions for any barriers that could be applied to their skin to prevent the initial problem from happening or any suggestions at all!!! thanks.

allergy to chlorine? use a little aloe on it, and keep them from playing too long in the pool. sunscreen, water proof or not, will not do ANYTHING, it will not act as a barrier. you can't really do anything to prevent it except keep them outta the pool.

try to go to a doctor if they don't know they'll send you to a dermatologist. it might be a genetic allergic reaction or some rash that is contagious that a person got when they were in the pool with them, eczema. a lot things i don't know =S go to a doctor.
Reply:y ru so obsessed with lotion? all your questions seem to be revolved around that your ur freaky parenting. u even asked the question "how many times have u applied lotion in ur entire life" how the f should ne1 no
