Glowing skin?..?
Please don't compare yourself or what is realistically possible to girls who have a team of professional makeup artists and hairstylists a step away.

Glad that you are looking for a cosmetic alternative to sunbathing. I have lived in California near the beach my entire life and believe me, going for the suntan with the sun will make your skin look like spotty, wrinkled leather in no time flat. I am thirty-five now and have witnessed the girls who roasted themselves like chickens in the sun now looking like old ladies. I didn't and am so thankful. It is very sunny here and in some parts of California the awareness of the detriment that too much exposure of the skin to the sun seems to be non-existent. Anyone who spends a large amount of time outside suffers the pre-mature aging of the skin. Skin cancer is rampant. I have a little of the inevitable sun damage, but I have still been able to ward off wrinkles and dull, collagen-challenged skin. I laugh to myself when people can't believe my age. I was made fun of endlessly when I was in highschool for keeping pale:)

Benefit makes a few products under the name "Hollywood Glo" It can give your skin that sun drenched, dewy, glow without looking like you coated your face with something. Check your face in natural light to make sure that you have not over applied and blended enough. There are quite a few other similar products. Check Sephora for anything that is a bronzer; a glow makeup. Start moisturizing at an early age as well.

Sunless tanning products can give you the all-over tan. Always exfoliate before hand. Loreal and Jergens make sunless tanners that give you a gradual color which you will have more control over. Many high end cosmetics lines produce sunless tanners. Investigate. Remember that they all expire. The sunless tanners will go bad after about one year.

The easiest way to give yourself glowing skin is to hydrate yourself. Drink lots of water. Don't smoke (it sucks oxygen away from the skin) and eat highly nutritious food. Lots of vitamin filled veggies. Exercise is also beneficial for the health of your skin.

A great question. I hope I have helped:)
Glowing skin?..?
haha, no, I live in Cali and it's not like that! I know its true because I live in a surfer town too! Anyway, try the Almay face brightener under your makeup, or wear it alone. Also try a luminizer (sephora has some great ones). Always wash your face before applying makeup. Go for something oil absorbing or shine controlling. That will make you look clean. Don't forget to moisturize!

Good luck!

P.S. Maybe try Jergens Face Tanning Moisturizer (or something like that name, I think I'm off a little) this will give a nice tan glow!
Reply:she uses self tanner
Reply:Well you can use Olay sun less tanner for face and body works in a few days! Good Luck!
Reply:i spritz my face with a mixtuire of milk and water, then use exfoliater, then use sunless tanner..works a treat!!!:)x
Reply:no...thats not true...they just go tanning all year long..you can have glowing skin without looking like you fake and bake all year long. glowing skin is different than sun kissed skin. you need to exfoliate your face first..this will remove the dead skin and reveal a healthier "glow" to your skin...follow with a great moisturizer. and if you wnat...you can use some bronzer all over your face...and just put a tad bit more on your forehead...tip of the nose...and your chin...basically..wherever the sun would naturally hit your face more
Reply:get bronzer.
