Which skin tone is better for Asians?

i know that being tan is in now. but im wondering if that also applies to asian girls. because my friend is also asian and obesessed with becoming paler, since its fashionable in asian to have pale skin. so, in ur opinion, do asian girls generally look better with paler skins or with tanner skin? i'm asian and use skin lightening products.. but i only use skin lightening products to even out darkened parts of my body due to driving and age spots.. so i'm naturally fair skinned.. your question depends on one's cultural identity and tradition..





generally speaking, one's natural color is where one looks best and should feel best.. however, in these present days, most white men and women artificially tan their skin, and most asians or african americans lighten their skin.. whatever the skin goal one is into, they have the same objectives.. why?..





because of better self-esteem, a better job perhaps, or to correct skin problems.. the difference just lies in the end result .. that's why skin lightening is more criticized in the US than in asian countries.. but a fair-skinned woman will turn more heads in an asian country than a walking bronzed white woman.. the opposite runs if you're in a western country..

I like my natural skintone, which is pale. I'm really not into the whole tanning thing, and I really don't get why people are constantly trying to change their skin color, whether it's from skin lightening creams or tanning.
Reply:i agree with the first answer, all skin colours are equally attractive, and what your born with is what suits you best. the colour of anyones skin isnt beautiful or ugly, uts just a colour, and thats the one that suits them best, other colours will look unnatural on them.
Reply:i think asian people look best in their natural color. i know an asian girl who's really pale, and frankly, it's creepy! it's like she's half dead or something! and i also know an asian who's really tan, and she's pretty, but i think she'd look better her normal color.
