ve skin, bronzer, all natural make-up) on it. It seriously puffs up so that I look like I have chubby cheeks! I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and if there is anything I can do about it. I've been to doctors about it who are just baffled about it so.... what do i do? Right now I'm content with eyeliner, concealer under my eyes and a bronzer that for some reason doesnt seem to make me puffy but I'd one day like to wear foundation like normal people and have flawless skin like them for photos :) Soo yea what to do.

Lilly, I'm wondering what brand your bronzer and concealer are. Perhaps that might be key to finding out what foundation you might be able to wear. Does your concealer make a foundation or does your bronzer formulate a loose mineral foundation? If so, that might help if you haven't already tried those products.

Failing the above, I'd recommend Jane Iredale products for the following reasons. Take particular note of what is NOT included in the ingredients which can often lead to sensitivities if not immediately, then often times, a delayed reaction down the line. You shouldn't have a problem with this.

"-Non-comedogenic, will not block pores.

-Virtually no allergy risk. All products have been sensitivity tested.

-Broad-spectrum UVB and UVA protection - up to SPF 20.

-Anti-inflammatory, helps to calm and soothe irritated skin.

-Very water resistant rating by an approved FDA lab.

-Complete coverage for skin conditions like acne, rosacea and redness following treatments like chemical peels and laser resurfacing.

-Contains no talc or parabens.

-Composed of inert minerals that cannot support bacteria.

-Environmentally aware.

-No products have been tested on animals"

For sensitive skin I recommend Jane Iredale mineral make-up. I have clients who insist on putting on make-up after chemical peels, facials and/or microdermabrassion and, if they must put anything on at all, I'd rather see them put on something natural than something filled with chemicals that almost invite a reaction either immediately or somewhere down the line. Iredale products contain natural anti-inflammatories and antibiotics to help calm and soothe the skin. Not only is this product good for your skin, it's absolutely gorgeous on. Since your skin is sensitive, you can, of course, use an all natural brush and use your own pressure when applying.

As far as your regular concealer and eyeliner go, you can go ahead and use them though with these minerals you may find you don't even need the concealer. When applied with a dampened clean sponge, this mineral powder is a great concealer and will even hide fine lines if you have any.

Things to avoid in make-up are talc, paraben (possible link to breast cancer as well as accelerated aging) , pthalate (posslible links to cancer and adult infertility,

As far as cleansers and moisturizers, try Cetaphyl. It's one of the gentlest products you can use on your skin. Purpose is another great brand. Both are recommended by dermatologists and are drugstore products that are inexpensive. They each have cleansing and hydrating products. You can read about them here:

Hope you found this helpful. Good luck finding a product that works well for you!

Get a silver spoon. Let it sit in ice for about 2 mins. Then put the cold spoon on the places that looks puffy.

That should help.
Reply:I am baffled like the doctors.

My recommendation is to try other products and see if you can find one that doesn't make you puffy. Try bare minerals foundation powder. That isn't so harsh on the skin.
Reply:Although it is unlikely, you might be allergic to your foundation. Try Almay or Clinique they are both hypo-allergenic and should work for sensitive skin (I have sensitive skin too and I only use these brands)! Good luck!
