So upset over my skin?

I started to have acne and pimples on my face and body since I was 11 years old. Now I鈥檓 24 and it got even worse. I dream for a clear skin. My doctor put me on birth control pills and my skin got so much better, almost clear. But I had to stop birth control pills because of its side effects. Again, after stopping those pills, my skin got even worse than before. Now my skin is extremely oily and I got so much acne on my face, neck, chest, stomach and back. What makes my skin so oily and what makes me have so much acne.

I was wondering if you have any information that might help me.

Did you follow up with your doctor who put you on BCP? Were you referred to a dermatologist? Perhaps it's time to see one again if it has been a while. If you have HMO, you will need a referral, if you have PPO, you can look up the nearest dermatologist who is in your network. He or she may end up putting you on accutane or something.

You need to try a product called Arbonne, it is amazing! They have a website www.arbonne.com or you may find a consultant in your area. Your skin is also a direct result of what you eat and drink. How much water do you drink??
Reply:Try proative. it really works.
Reply:See a dermatologist, cephalaxin taken daily will help

Good luck

the stuff over the counter is a waste of money and time

proactive does not work
Reply:I found a great site that should help: http://www.acne.org/

Great info and simple procedures with easy to find over the counter products which are basically identical to Proactiv but cheaper.
Reply:Find a Dermatologist that can do a CO2 slush, I too have oily skin, it doesn't hurt and takes under five minutes. You have to keep getting them but they are worth it. I took Accutane and couldn't tolerate it but it also did help. Try the slush first.
