I always get dry skin on my face beside my nose under my eyes, the area is usually quite red looking too. I always use E45 to moisturise. Is there anything i could eat or tablets to take to stop the dry skin. Also i dont suffer from dry skin in any othe place.
Thanks.
Dry skin on my face?
Try Lubriderm. Works for me.
Dry skin on my face?
this might sound crazy but put some conditioner on the dry place and wait for like 10 minutes then wipe it off with warm water
Reply:Actually try clean and clears moisturizer. I haven't found anyone it doesn't work for. Even after a bad sunburn my skin still stays moist with just one application in the morning. Plus it helps fight acne at the same time.

Reply:You could have a food allergy to MSG (Mono Sodium Glutomate) found in a lot of chinese food especially sweet and sour dishes. This can cause your symptoms. If it goes away for a while then comes back, you might want to check if it's in your food. (It's a flavour enhancer)
Reply:you need to exfoliate! or try a chemical peel they have quite a few brands u can buy without going to a salon. here are some names of a few : bath and body makes one, md skin care, philosopy Microdelivery peel) all of these run about 60-70 dollars
Reply:I found the norwegian formula neutrogena comfort balm a excellent cream for your skin.
Reply:i would say try exfoliating those areas with baking soda, but eating a couple of kiwi a day can do amazing things for your skin.
Reply:You might have eczema. Try cetaphil face wash and moisturizer. I had a friend with dry patches on her skin and it really helped. Also try exfoliated with a moisturizing mud mask. Princess Borchesse makes a great one and so does arbonne. Try arbonne not so basics. You may be allergic to your moisturizer or concealer. If you use concealer on or around those places it may be causing the dry skin.
Reply:Exfoliate and drink alot of water
Reply:My partner gets this as well and he put aloe vera gel (you can get it from health shops) where it was dry and it worked like magic! Also there is a cream called Eumovate which is also very good for this. Oh and eat avocados they are great for your skin!
Reply:Body Shop vitamin C is good .I use it on the sides of my nose it is lovely and soft.

Reply:I think moisturisers are the cause of the problem. they prevent your facial skin from producing its own natural moisturiser. They actually make your skin too sensitive making it prone to environmental damage. So does washing your face. Try rinsing your face only with cold water and fingers only once a day in the evening. You need to let your skin come back to life again. Also check pillow cases are rinsed thoroughly and not used more than twice.
Reply:try liz earles naturally active skin care range from qcv.co.uk 30 day money back guarantee. i used to have dry skin at my nose too. since using her range i haven't had dry skin and that was 6 years ago!! you can safely use the moisturiser near your eyes too, no puffiness great gentle range, even strangers tell me what lovely skin i have !! it comes with full instructions but it's really easy to use and suitable for anyone and although you don't have dry skin anywhere else it just balances the skin out. you can choose from dry/ sensitive or normal to combination or a light moisturising lotion for the summer luvvly jubbly . hope this helps good luck bye.....................
