Hi. I have really bad skin. First of all my skin is a tan like color but around my eyes and mouth I am a bit darker there. I hate it, it looks like there is caked on skin there. I have that same problems with the rest of my skin not just my face. Certain parts are lighter and some are darker. Same problem with my underarms. I tried everything, scrubs, exfolating, costly creams and mosterizers, drinking water. If anyone can help I thank u
I have skin issues. HELP?
The dark skin under your eyes is because of hormones. The dark skin around your mouth is because you have uneven pigmentation.( your body is producing more pigment in that area) The dark underarms is because the skin tends to bunch together there the same as your knees, elbows, knuckles etc. and that makes it look darker. Removing your underarm hair ( waxing or electrolysis) will help that area. Chemical peels will lighten the skin on knees, elbows etc.Don't go for laser treatments as someone suggested. The laser will stimulate pigmentation making the problem worse.

Reply:Try turkey ****.
Reply:i would go to a skin doctor itl end up costing u less then buying creams that dont work
Reply:You need to go see someone who does laser skin abrasions, they have treatments that can help your skin and can do things to get it all the same shade. Be prepared to spend some big $$ though! you might contact several in your area and see who can work with you to do it a little at a time. I wish you the best of luck!
Reply:You could go to a doctor and find out there's nothing you can do about it or you could save some money and embrace your discolored skin
Reply:A dermatologist will evaluate and help you determine if your skin condition is something to really worry about or not, there are many products on the market to help with very minor skin discolorations, Porcelana is one, if it is a medical conditon, then only a Dr. will be able to prescribe what you need, I doubt a dietary change will do much for the condition and it may be that heredity is involved which we have no control over. I would start with at least one visit to a good derm- atologist first.
Reply:Try going to or calling a dermotolgist. I'm sure they can help. That's there job! But I don't think there's anything you can buy at a drugstore that can help much. Good Luck!
Reply:my aunt has the same problem!!! there are some collagen treatments that work as well as those that are for post-pregnant women. This may have happened by an excessive or bad hair removing, like in your underarms; or by sun. other more expensive but of course more effective ways are going to a dermatologist or trying the cosmetic surgery.
Reply:have you tryed noxema it does not cost alot and it might get rid of any dirt if that may be the problem but for your face try cover up i dont know what else to tell you...sorry
Reply:Go to a dermatologist to go get it checked out. They will give you something that will help with that.
