I have pretty fair skin, kinda like Nicole Kidman, Laura Prepon (that 70's show), Scarlett Johannsen... it's just a shade lighter. I still have pinkish/bluish undertones. I'm kinda tired of tanning salons, spray tanners, self tanners, what does everyone think of natural fair skin? How can I play it up and look sexy? Not dead. I've always hated my fair skin. Anyone have any tips?
Fair skin?
Good for you! Avoid those tanning salons; they'll give you some wicked wrinkles when you're older! I'm also very fair skinned, very pale, with freckles. I use a powder that matches my skin tone to even out my color, then a pinkish blush. If you have blue eyes, use sand/beige/brown eye shadow. It'll perk up your eyes and make them look bluer. I love my pale skin. I don't tan at all, just burn. So sunblock in the summer is a necessity. I'll still get just a bit of gold to my skin through the sunblock. In the winter, I use the powder to even my tone and a touch of the pinkish blush on cheeks and just a tiny bit on forehead and chin. It gives your skin a warm, rosy look (don't go heavy on forehead and chin! You just want a hint of warmth. If you can tell there is blush there, wipe some off.) Just make sure any foundation or powder you use is as close as you can get to your natural skin tone. If it's too far off, you'll be able to see the line where the foundation stops and your skin starts. Not attractive.

Fair skin is lovely! Report It
Reply:Try using some blush on your cheeks and over your nose and forehead for a sun kissed look without all that damage of tanning and self tanners. I have the same type of skin tone and can not tan but I kind of like being pale opposed to being fake baked...
Reply:i have fair skin too.i dont think that there`s anything wrong with fair skin. it use to bother me alot with i was younger but as i grew older it doesn't bother me anymore. Ive come to accept it.
Reply:i think that very fair skin is really pretty especially with dark brown hair. make sure you wash your face really good two times a day so you dont have any blemishes, then wear goldish cream eye shadow, and peaches and cream blush. and wear liquid fondation to even out skin tone then just wear powder fondation. if you are going for a high-glam look experiment with red-red lipstick!
I dont have this problem because i come from a family of spanish decent but i think that this would be beautiful!
Reply:Use a Corrections (brand name) green concealer. It looks like a lipstick. It will blend with your skin tone and ide the blueish tones you were describing. Then wear your normal fair shaded foundation. Play up the blush with peacy tones and use a creme blush not a powder. Exercise more to get your own healthy glow to your face. and bend over in te morning to get the blood to rush to your face and add some needed flush tones.
