Very Pale Skin . . .?

I have really pale skin and freckles. So the combination makes me look sick!

Im a guy so using concealer or foundation is a No, is there any foods that give skin a healthy glow? Any remedies for pale skin?
Very Pale Skin . . .?
Why do you think it makes you look sick? I have pale skin and freckles, and I look great.
Very Pale Skin . . .?
drink lots of water and eat lots of fruit and vegetables for a healthy glow
Reply:know about some girls' way : eat more orange or some cucumber, or U can lay some cucumber chip on your face ??
Reply:Oh I so understand you! I have ginger hair, freckles, milk skin and more than 200 molls, and on top of that I can't get tanned whatever I do, I just go red, then peel, and white again :(

Ways I have found to deal with this: eat A LOT of carrots, especially during the summer, I don't know how it works, but the interaction with the sun is better, helps you tan (a little). You can also get those self-tanning lotions I know Nivea and Dove have some, and not too expensive... I am in Australia, here they cost like $5-6. The best thing I do which helps for longer is SOLARIUM. This is the only way I get darker than ever and so my freckles are not that visible. Don't get panicked if you go and when you get out your freckes have doubled, its just during the first few minutes after. There are heaps of lotions that help you tan faster while using a solarium. Good luck with this... I know how it feels to look sick and it really is not fair!
Reply:Could try a self tanner or a salon spray on tan to darken your skin. Can't suggest any though 'cuz I'm proud of my pale skin and haven't tried any myself.
Reply:My skin is the same way. What is actually recommended for guys as an every-day thing (other than drinking LOTS of water, which helps me) is to get a big makeup brush and brush on some light bronzer in the mornings, just around your nose, forehead, chin, and cheeks. Emphasis on SPARINGLY! This will give you a little bit of color without actually wearing makeup. Make sure if you try this to get a bronzer without glitter...for some reason a lot of them come with glitter embedded, which will NOT work well for a guy! A cheap brand without glitter is NYC.
Reply:lol i'm super pale but i don't do anything about it because honestly you are probly the only person who thinks it looks bad and if you look at it it really doen't look bad at all. the most important thing is to keep your skin clean and healthy.

Question about Skin allergy?
You should see a dermatologist. They can do a patch test to find out what you are allergic to. This will help you to avoid what is causing the problem, thereby reducing or even eliminating the need for drugs.
Question about Skin allergy?
hi sibinps,

I too have the same problem. It started 3 months ago and I have changed 2 docotors too but still no one could diagnose the cause for this itching. I tried Allegra, Teczine. If u find a remedy for this problem please post it Report It

Reply:You should take colder showers often.

Lotion for Prettier Skin?

Are there any lotions that make your skin prettier? I'm fair skinned, so any freckle or mark shows up. What I am looking for in particular is something that makes your skin whiter or creamier. Short of applying poisonous powder to my skin, what can I do?
Lotion for Prettier Skin?
Go to walmart, they should have this cream called "concha nacar". It works wonders. They have 3.. the clearing cream, the night cream and the day cream. Get them all, they are worth it.. AND they are not expensive :o)
Lotion for Prettier Skin?
Nivea cream works really well. It is lightly scented and glides on smoothly and moisturizes skin for up to 9 hours. I get mine from Target or Walmart for only $2 for a really big bottle. It's the one in the shiny blue bottle.

Also, the body butters from The Body Shop keep skin really soft and healthy.

Avoid heavily scented lotions from Victoria's Secret or Bath and Body Works.

Makeup for tired skin?

When I don't get enough sleep my skin looks dull/grey and dark circles are very obvious. I find that sometimes putting make up can make me look more tired. Does anyone have any tips for what kind of makeup (natural, classic, light, heavy, etc) or which colours to apply to tired skin? Any tips to wake up skin and for healthy glow? I'm 25, asian with medium fair skin, black hair and brown eyes. Thanks.
Makeup for tired skin?
Try a tinted moisturizer which will give you glow (there are tons of different kinds- low end= Covergirl, Neutrogena and high end=Paula Dorf, Laura Mercier). Covergirl Medium Tinted moisturizer would be a good option to try before you decide to spend more money.

Definitely try a concealor that is a little lighter than your skintone and of a light consistency and dab it under your eyes and at the corners to brighten them up.

You can also try a pale gold eyeshadow to add some sparkle and line the upper lid with a thin line of brown eyeliner or eyeshadow(but not the lower lid).

And try a peachy lip gloss. The sheen will perk up your features, make you look more put together and will add some vibrancy and color to your face.

You can also try a blush to really wake your face up if you think you need it after the tinted moisturizer and other makeup. A peachy pink shade will be natural enough to make you look refreshed without making it look like you are wearing a lot of makeup :)

Mary Kay Foundation is great. It last 10 hours and leaves your skin looking flawless. Just click the link below.
Reply:When your skin is starting to look tired, it is time for a facial. You can give yourself one at home. Use a sponge with a mild soap to wash away all the dead skin. Turn on your hot water, put a towel over your head and stick your head in the sink allowing the steam to clean your pores (careful not to burn yourself). Always moisturise before bed time, after a shower, and before going outdoors. Massage your face but don't pull the skin around the eyes. Never wear makeup that is too light, this will make you more tired not to mention scary. One last tip, try pulling your hair back of your face. Hope this helps.
Reply:maybe you wear a wrong make up. you can try use mascara for your lashes. . anf put a light make up on. mascara on your lashes will help "enlarge": the look of ur eyes. b4 puting mascara, curl your lashes. it will look much vivid. hope this might help.
Reply:Use an oil base make-up.
Reply:Tired skin needs revitalization. Make up enhances beauty - but is not meant to conceal your skin. Whatever is there - it enhances!

SO...good skincare is the place to start. I would recommend Microdermabrasion to you. It totally resurfaces your skin...and eliminates a dull look. Make sure to use a product that is followed with a replenishing cream. You will love how your skin feels and looks.

For dark circles...a good eye cream will help. The best remedy is a neutralizing yellow concealer followed by a beige concealer for your skin tone. Do not apply foundation over the concealers...have your foundation meet up and blend with the beige that is covering the yellow. This way you do not have heaviness under the eye.

Once you have your skin happy - almost any colors look great. I too have black hair, brown eyes and I love a smokey grey/charcoal look on our skin.

Dry sensitive skin & breakouts?

The skin on my face is extremely dry and prone to whiteheads -lots of them! The only cleanser that won't make my skin flare up red or break out more is Noxema. I haven't found a moisturizer or a foundation that won't make me break out. I use Cover Girl pressed powder and powder blush - to even out the tone some - but I'm wondering if there's another make-up or moisturizing solution that works for this type of skin. Thanks in advance!

Stuff on my skin?

WELL i don't really have *stuff* on my skin, it is more like a small piece/flap of skin that sticks out, Just like a toe sticks out of your foot!! but on like a 1/50th scale size, like 2/4 of a cm id say, I was going to attempt tearing it but i decided not to because it is pretty much one with my skin, it is just like a lump of skin sticking out and i know it would hurt REALLY BAD if I tore and it would bleed a LOT, also just a side note, i am a male and it is right next to my genitals. I am just asking here because i might save a trip to the doc to get something removed ya know?
Stuff on my skin?
sounds like a skin tag. If you twist them a little bit every day, it'll cut off the blood supply and fall off in about a week
Stuff on my skin?
depends if it bugs you or not.. i mean it doesnt seem like a life or death siduation.. so you could just leave it be or see a doc.. i donno good luk :)
Reply:dude thats fuking gross. get some scizzors and cut it off man
Reply:They are normal polyps that occur where folds of skin are present (the groin and armpit usually). You can make a loop around them with a length of thread and jerk the two ends to sever it, or just snip it off...it will bleed.
Reply:The proper way to get rid of skin tags is to have yoyur doctor take them off with liquid nitrogen..painless and no bleeding. Don't do it yourself, they can typically bleed A LOT.
Reply:it's a skin tag so you should see a dermatologist to have it removed, don't worry it's actually pretty common and they treat in a day and it's gone!=)
